Shirley Ann Duxbury, age 63, of Swift Current SK, passed away suddenly on April 8, 2017 at the Cypress Regional Hospital. The memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m., April 17, 2017, from First United Church with Reverend Annette Taylor officiating. The eulogist was Leane McBlain. Shirley is survived by her husband, Doug McBlain, and step-children, Jason, Leane and Aimee; her daughter, Linda Park (Taerum Boone) and grandchildren, Corbin and Kianna Lightfoot; son, Jason Park, (Megan Garner) and grandchildren, Codey and Tyler Park; son, Kenneth Park, and grandchild, Kelista Giesbrecht; daughter, Sarah Goddu (Bailey Holmes); son, John Park (Sasha Klassen) and grandchild, Eka-Lee Park; and daughter, Jody Siever (Denver Siever) and grandchildren, Peyton and Nixon Siever. Shirley was predeceased by John and Ethel Duxbury, Jonny Duxbury, Albert Duxbury and Arthur Duxbury. She was born March 7, 1954 at Assiniboia SK, and attended Limerick High School. Shirley will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Donations in memory of Shirley may be made to the Swift Current S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 1163, Swift Current SK S9H 3X3.
