Sheldon Wallace Hume
1927-2017
At the Kings
County Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, December 10, 2017, the passing of
Sheldon Wallace Hume, age 89, beloved husband of the late Margaret
“Peg” (MacLeod) Hume and Phyllis (Cantelo) Hume. Born in
Beach Point, he was the son of the late Wallace and Lois (MacLeod)
Hume. He is survived by his loving son David Hume; stepchildren Beryl
(Dave) McLane, Sam (Joye) MacLeod; brother Sterling (Anne) Hume;
sisters-In-law Sandra Hume, Dorothy MacLeod; brothers-In-law Sterling
Cantelo, Elmer (Illah) Cantelo; grandchildren Susan (Tyson) Bradley,
Laura (Tupper) Harris; 3 step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren;
numerous nieces and nephews. Sheldon was predeceased by an infant son
Glendon Hume; brother Alden Hume and sister-in-law Myrna Hume.
Resting at
the Murray Harbour Church of Christ with visiting on Wednesday,
December 13th from 1:00 pm to funeral time at 2:00 pm. Interment to
follow in the Murray Harbour Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to
the Kidney Foundation or the Humane Society of PEI would be
appreciated.
