Passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 59 years of age. Cherished husband and best friend for 37 years to Liz (Glass). Proud father of Jenna Tessier (John) and Aaron Vaughan (Robyn). Loving Grandpa “Candy Man” to Lucas, Cole, Evan and baby Lewis. Beloved son of the late Lawrence and Joan Vaughan. Son-in-law of Frank and Theresa Glass. Loving grandson of the late John and Edith Vaughan and William and Eleanor LeFaive. Shawn will be sadly missed by his many brothers and sisters in law as well as his Wildwood R.V. resort family. He was a true family man, an outstanding husband, father and grampa and he will be missed by all those whose lives he has touched. Shawn was a loyal employee of Morton Industrial Sales and Service for 29 years. The family extends special thanks to Paulette Trefry, Debbie Thibert and all friends and family for their continued support. Memorial visitation will take place at the Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home (1525 Hwy # 3, Oldcastle, 519-969-3939) on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A memorial presentation will be made at 8:00 pm. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor/Essex County.
