Service Details
On Monday, June 12, 2017 Sharon Iemants of Ellscott, AB passed away at the age of 72 years. Sharon is survived by her daughter Darcy (Rob) Ausmus of Edmonton, grandchildren Larissa Ausmus of Edmonton, Curtis Ausmus of Edmonton, great grandchild Aiden Ausmus of Edmonton, her second lifetime companion Elmer Knoblock of Ellscott, sisters Barb (Wayne) Marcy of Grand Prairie, Lois (Dennis) Schryver of Grassland, Joyce (Clint) Magnus of Humboldt, SK, Janice (Mike) Murphy of Boyle, brothers Ken (Gisele) Hague of Innisfail, Dave (Belinda) Hague of Boyle, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins & friends. Sharon is predeceased by husband Peit Iemants, parents Shirley & George Hague, brother in law Grant Haiste.
Sharon was the first child of 7 kids she worked hard all her life. She graduated in 1963 and wanted to be a nurse. Plans changed as she had her one and only child Darcy. She loved her more than ever. Then she met Peit and enjoyed a long marriage until he passed away in 2005. Then she met with Elmer. During her years she raised birds and goats. She enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, camping, bowling and most of all being with her family and friends. She loved entertaining a crowd.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Ellscott Community Hall in Ellscott with Rev. Chris Boyce officiating and interment will follow in the Ellscott Community Cemetery Ellscott
In lieu of flowers donations to the Cystic Fibrosis or Boyle Health Care Center Ladies Auxiliary would be appreciated.
