Seymour (Sy) Moskowitz March 17, 1926 – December 14, 2017. Jazz man, WWII hero, potato farmer, entrepreneur, magician, gentleman, patriarch and friend, Sy lived a rich and full life until he died peacefully, at home in his 92nd year. Sy was the beloved husband of Annabelle for 68 years; devoted father of Diane (Ron), Carolyn (Leonard), Joan (Dale); loving grandfather of Ian (Joanna), Lisa (Yishai), Erin, Erica (Bryan), Rebekah (Albert) and Adrienne (Tristan); doting great- grandfather of Jamie, Robbie, Maia, Yael, Rachel, Leo, Audrey, Joseph, Claire, Alexander, and Hannah Sofia; and adoring role model of his many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Affectionate brother of the late Carl (Valerie), the late Ted (the late Rosalie), and caring brother-in-law of the late Allan (the late Yvonne). Sy’s generosity, charm and sense of humour endeared him to everyone who knew him and he will be sorely missed. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Les Richmond, Dr. Marnie Howe and the incredible palliative team, Dr. Rena Buckstein, Elana Alenicheva, William Richards, Jim Ho and the irreplaceable Noemi Catacutan. Funeral at Benjamin’s Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west of Dufferin), Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 11:30 am. Interment at Beth Tzedec Memorial Park. Shiva at 449 Walmer Rd, 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
