1922-2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Selena Brannigan
announces her passing, which occurred peacefully on Tuesday, January
24, 2017 at Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour. Born July
29, 1922 on the Kingston Peninsula, she was the daughter of the late
Caroline (Dunham) Yeomans and step-daughter of the late Earl
Yeomans.
Selena will always be lovingly remembered for her kind ways
and wisdom.
Selena was the loving mother of Daniel John Brannigan of
British Columbia, Patricia Hulbert of Saint John and Shirley Nilsson
(Carl) of Lepreau/New River; special grandmother to Sterling Henry
Cole (Roseanne), Marc Jefferson Cole, Blair Alexander Marsh, Daniella
Selena Brannigan and Carl Clayton Nilsson Jr.; as well as aunt to Bill
Clark of Ontario. In addition to her parents and husband,
she was also predeceased by her son-in-law, Paul Hulbert and sister,
Rona Clark.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral
Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John
(634-7425) with visiting on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 2-4 and
6-8 PM. The funeral service will be held from
Brenan’s Bay View Chapel on Friday, January 27, 2017 at
11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension
Cemetery, in the Spring.
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer
Society of New Brunswick.
