It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sarah Rebecca Grant announce her passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Care Centre on Wednesday December 27, 2017 at the age of 77 years. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Grant; son Clyde Rodney Grant; parents Henry & Rita Bennet; sister Mary Bugden (Gordon); brothers Gordon Follett, Thomas Cumben and daughter-in-law Gloria Grant. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Debbie Green, Danny Grant, Karen Fahey, Shirlee Pierce, Todd Grant (Linda), Valerie O’Brien (Scott), Lisa Grant (Derek); brother Henry Hatcher (Margie); sister Alfreda White (Norm), sister-in-law Meta Cumben, a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe avenue, Gander on Thursday December 28,2017 and Friday December 29, 2017 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. In keeping with Sarah’s wishes cremation will take place and interment will take place at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations in Sarah’s memory may be made to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Grand Bank.
