Life Legacy
It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Santo Romano at the age of 86 on November 18th, 2017, at St. Peter’s Hospital. Santo is survived by his wife Gianna, and children Jerry, Antonella (Joe), his siblings Rose, Dominic (late Giustina), Joe (Cornelia), the late Angelina Lo Burgio (Nino), Maria Zarcone (Anthony), Andre (Anne), and many nieces and nephews. Santo battled Type 1 diabetes for 52 years but had a will to live right to the end. His smile was contagious to anyone that met him. We will never forget you dad! Special thanks to the staff at St. Peter’s for their kindness and compassion. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E (near James St.) on Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass to be offered at All Souls Church on Wednesday November 22nd, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Burlington. In lieu of flowers donations to the |Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
