Sandy Gregory, friend of everyone, 59, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 2, 2017.
She is survived by her 1 sister and 5 brothers, and 11 Nieces and Nephews: Murray and Karen Gregory, Tracy and Kevin: Glen and Ruth Ann Gregory, Sheri and Mark: Raymond and Barbara Gregory: Douglas and Colleen Gregory, Brain and Michelle: Rosemary and Lloyd Davis, Gregory and Myles: Steven and Kathy Gregory, Ryan, Jessica, and Claire.
Sandy was predeceased by her parents Albert (Pat) Gregory and Alma Jean Cooper.
Sandy was born and raised on a small farm south of St Marys. She moved to Bryon and then Chatham before returning to St. Marys as a young women. Sandy spent most of her life in St. Marys. She was a friendly, happy, and an outspoken person who knew almost everyone in St. Marys. She loved to host parties at her place inviting all her friends and family. She frequented most of the restaurants and coffee shops in town. She always let you know that she saw you and wanted to say hi. She volunteered her time at church and other charitable organizations. She always enjoyed her work. One of her true enjoyments was her music which she would listen to for hours. Her most favorite song was singing “A long way to Tipperary”.
Friends will be received at the St. Marys Friendship Centre, 317 James St. South St. Marys, on Saturday December 16, 2017, for visitation from from 10:00-11:00 a.m. A celebration of Sandy’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. In memory of Sandy, contributions to the Community Living St Marys and Area would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, St. Marys.
