FOLSTER, Sandra “Sandy”
passed peacefully at 55 years of age, surrounded by her sisters on March 14, 2017 at Erie Shores Residential Hospice in Leamington. She was a lifelong resident of Cottam. Sandy was predeceased by her mother Hilda (1994) and survived by her father Stu, sisters, Pamela Folster (Richard McKnight), Karen Lessard (Mario), Maribeth Fitzsimmons (Mark), niece Jacqueline Lessard (Josh Vickerd) and Sandy’s beautiful and faithful Scottish Fold “Meeka.” We wish to extend special thanks and gratitude to Sandy’s CCAC nurses, Lori and Gwen as well as PSW’s Amira, Linda and Debbie, the wonderful staff at Erie Shores Residential Hospice and good friend Lyn and Joe Couture. At Sandy’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation to be held at Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 87 Maidstone Ave. E., Essex (519-776-4233) on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 10 – 12 pm followed by a Graveside Service at Cottam United Church Cemetery. The family welcomes everyone to Stu and Sandra’s home in Cottam for a luncheon following the service. If desired memorial donations made to Erie Shores Hospice would be appreciated.
