Following a lengthy illness at the St Catharines General Hospital on Wednesday December 14th, 2016. Sam Giganti in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Susie (nee) Sullivan.Survived by siblings Antoinette Biamonte, Louise Ostrynski, Betty Foster & Joe and brother in law Joanne and Bruce York. Predeceased by his sisters Susan Martin and Rachel Colautti and brothers Carlo, Nick and Carmine and sister in law Shirlee Duggan .Will be sadly missed by his “Buddy” Dooley.Sam was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 350 and a longtime employee of Bird’s Moving and Storage. The family will receive friends at the Butler Funeral Home 424 Niagara Street on Friday December 16, 2016 from 2 – 4 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Butler Chapel on Saturday December 17th 2016 at 11:00 a.m. A private family cremation to follow. If so desired memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
