Obituary for Samuel Bert “Sam” Sieben
Samuel “Sam” Bert Sieben was born on November 3, 2006 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He was the oldest child of Daryl and Bonnie (Torkelson) Sieben, and big brother to William, Ellie and Alexander.
Sam was such a blessing to Daryl and Bonnie to start their family. He was instantly loved by everyone he met, young and old alike. Sam really loved young children, he was a tremendous role model for his younger cousins and friends, but could fit in with anyone, no matter their age.
Sam attended school in Macklin, Saskatchewan and was in grade 5. He was blessed to be in a classroom filled with many good friends. Sam excelled at everything he tried but really enjoyed baseball, flag football, curling, drawing, building Lego and especially farming.
Though he left us too soon, Sam will always be remembered for his one of a kind eyebrow, freckle face, infectious laugh, quick wit and relentless pestering.
Sam passed away suddenly on December 1, 2017.
He will be lovingly remembered forever by his parents, Daryl and Bonnie; siblings, William, Ellie and Alexander; grandparents, Kirk and Ila Torkelson and Doreen Sieben; aunts and uncles, James (Kelly) and family, Paul and family, Martin and family, Boniface and family, Donna (Ron) and family, Gerard (Michelle) and family, Annette (Tim) and family, Edward (Faye) and family, Sylvia (Wade) and family, Sharon and Family, Sheila and family, Lori (Darcy) and family, Debbie (Brian) and family, George Sieben and family; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Sam has now rejoined his Grandpa, Bert in heaven.
