McLEOD, Ruth Emma—
Peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Friday, October 20, 2017 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of 67 years of the late Bruce (2015). Loving mother of Duncan (Susan) and Sheena. Cherished grandma of Rory, Heather, Malcolm (Naomi), Gregor (Lindsay) and Kathleen. Adoring GG to Callum, Angus and Harris. She is survived by her youngest brother Herbert Andrew. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Norma and Donalda. Predeceased by her brothers Thomas Alexander, John Douglas and Robert Edward. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ruth was an avid volunteer for her local paper, the Puslinch Pioneer. A special thank you to Dr. Issakoff-Meller for her compassion and care.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph. A private celebration of life to commemorate Ruth will be held at a later time. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Cards are available at the funeral home at (519)821-5077.
