Ruth Elsie Hartl passed away in Calgary on February 28, 2017 at the age of 97. Ruth was born in Chesterton, Staffordshire, England on August 12, 1919. Predeceased by her parents Samson and Mary Lister; brother Ralph Lister (Alice); sister Sylvia Flett (Bill); and husbands Art Ward and Albert Hartl. Ruth is survived by her four nephews Ron Lister, Gerry Lister (Maureen), D’arcy Flett (Lisa) and Greg Flett (Sherrill) and their families. “Auntie Ruth” was also predeceased by her best friends Arni and Ruth Anderson and is lovingly remembered by their children Valerie Anderson (Dyrl), Arlene Rose (Dave), Rhonda Miller (Wayne),…
