Ruth Elizabeth “Betty” Meyers (nee Dirsten) passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on October 9, 2017 at the age of 85 years in Red Deer, AB.
She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Harry Meyers; and her four sons, Barry (Joanne), Dale (Louella), Keith (Chris), and Tim (Muriel). She also leaves 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and many dear friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at Deer Park Alliance Church, 2960 – 39 St., Red Deer, AB, on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International In Canada at www.gideons.ca.
