Mrs. Ruth Gilroy of Oxbow, passed away at the Galloway Health Centre, Oxbow on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the age of 91.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harry & Elizabeth (Robison) Brandon; two sisters, Gladys (Doug) Sands and Beth Olsen; also son, Doug Gilroy in 2006.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Jim Gilroy of Oxbow; two sons, Greg (Laurel) Gilroy of Oxbow and Darrall Gilroy of Alameda; three grandchildren, Leann (Doug’s daughter), Warren (Ruleen) Gilroy and son Hunter of Regina, and Lynette (Nathan) Fehr and daughter Hailey of Calgary; brother, Ray (Pat) Brandon of Comox, BC and brother-in-law, Harvey Olsen of Outlook, SK.
There will be a private family service held at a later date. The Interment will take place at the Alameda Cemetery.
