Obituary of Rudy Lipp
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. He died peacefully on September 27th, 2017 at the Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga. He was surrounded by his family throughout this difficult time and felt so much love from those who cared about him.
Rudy will be sadly missed by his loving wife Nora, his children: David (Natasha Vallen), Alison (Kevin Kempers), and Brian (Tricia Fasulo) and grandchildren McKenna, Maple and Koda Kempers, and Blake Lipp. Dear brother of John (Margaret Lipp), Ida (Andrew Grzesina) and Hilda (Willy Laurie). Rudy will be fondly remembered by his uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews.
Rudy was very recently diagnosed with brain cancer, and the timeline was much shorter than everyone expected. Despite all of this, he fought hard until the end, maintaining his sense of humour and sweetness throughout. Even the medical professionals who supported him could not believe his strength and he proved them wrong every step of the way.
A Celebration of Life to honour Rudy will be held at St. John’s United Church, 11 Guelph Street, Georgetown, on Friday, December 22nd, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Refreshments to follow. We hope you can join us in celebrating the life of an incredible man.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills (CASHH) or to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to J.S. Jones & Son Funeral Home (905)877-3631. www.jsjonesandsonfuneralhome.com
