Rose MacFarlane of Upper Queensbury, NB passed away February 24, 2017
at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Rose was born in 1944 at
Woodstock, NB, a daughter of the late Auburne and Mary Sara (Sadie)
(Atkinson) Farrell.
Rose was a faithful supporter of Sure Life Assembly and enjoyed
volunteering in the church kitchen.
She is survived by three sons, Vincent Jr. MacFarlane (Mary), Dwight
MacFarlane (Tanya) and Jason MacFarlane; four grandchildren, Samantha
(Matt), Natalie, Tyler and Allyson (Jack); two brothers, George
Farrell (Phyllis) and Ansel Farrell; sisters-in-law, Eldena Sharp,
Betty Priest (Dearing), Sharon Pickard (Arnold), Bernadine Gingras
(Gilles) and Petrina McGuigan (Roger); a brother-in-law, Elwyn
MacFarlane (Linda); several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Vincent E. MacFarlane on February 23, 2009 and her parents in-laws,
Earl and Nora MacFarlane.
Visiting hours will be held at Sure Life Assembly, 335 Otis Drive,
Nackawic, NB on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 11 am to 2 pm, followed
by the funeral service at 2 pm with Pastor Rick McFadyen and Pastor
Paul Legere officiating. A reception will follow in the church
fellowship room. Interment will be later at Nackawic Cemetery.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Rose, the family
has suggested the Louise Breau Memorial Medical Trust Fund or the
Nackawic Cemetery.
