Obituary
On August 6, 2017, Rose Walters of St. Albert, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years, after a valiant battle against Alzheimer’s Disease. Rose lived her life with the utmost grace and dignity; her kind heart, giving and caring nature and unwavering faith will be remembered by all who knew her.
Rose was predeceased by Ross, her loving husband of 45 years, in 2008. She will be dearly missed by son, Neal; daughter-in-law, Cathy; grandsons, Matthew and Reid; and sister, Geraldine.
Rose was born in Ste. Narcisse, Quebec – the 11th of 12 children to Philippe Blaney and Annie Tuite. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert, William, Francis, Patrick, Joseph and Richard; and sisters, Mary, Margaret, Lilliane and Helen.
Special thanks to the dedicated staff at Youville for their compassionate care for Rose over the past 14 years.
