We are sad to say our mom, age 87, slipped away from us on September 8, 2017 at Glenbrook Lodge. The kindness, care, and friendship made over the past year enriched her life and were a blessing for us. Predeceased by her parents Gerard and Gertrude O’Brien; sisters Mary Ford, Marguerite Hickey (Leo); brothers John (Maureen), Edward (Betty), George (Gaby); and son Jerry. Leaving to mourn her children Marie (Ron) Wall, Damian (Colette), Lisa (Don Howlett) Sparkes, and Joel; sister Zita Woodward; sister-in-law Maureen who is like a sister; grandchildren Damian Murrins, Garry Byrne, Michael Byrne, Jessica Sparkes, Eamon Curran, and Devlin Curran; great grandchildren Alana Sparkes, Madison Wade, Kaiden Murrins, Journee Gallant; nieces and nephews as well as a large circle of friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick’s Church at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
