Obituary Overview
Ron Ziebart
Ronald W Ziebart June 19, 1944 – December 11, 2017 Ron passed peacefully on December 11, 2017 surrounded by family at the Edmonton University Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Tony and Rosina; sister, Rose Ann and granddaughter Audrey. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years Anne; son Jeremy (Sun); daughters Melissa and Patricia (Geoff); grandchildren Kassondra, Ophaelia, and Kane; as well as brothers, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Ron loved the Toronto Maple Leafs, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and spending time outdoors golfing and fishing, but most of all he loved being with his family. He worked as a Lawyer in Camrose for 35 years, retiring in 2007. Ron & Anne moved to Edmonton in 2012 to be closer to family and his beloved grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 16 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 18407 60 Ave followed by reception at Westlawn Funeral Home, 16310 Stony Plain Rd. The family is sincerely grateful to the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care of Dad in his last few months. The family would also like to thank everyone for the support, kind words and prayers. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
