Ronald I. (Ronnie) Steeves
1948-2017
Ronald Ivan (Ronnie) Steeves, husband of the late Brenda Steeves, of Miramichi passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday evening, November 29, 2017, at the age of 69.
Born in Newcastle, on October 19, 1948, he was the son of the late Allen and Helen (Gilliss) Steeves. He was a retired employee of the N.B. Dept. of Tourism; a former school bus driver and an adherent of the United Baptist Church.
He is survived by one brother, Richard Steeves, of Miramichi; one niece, Laura Dalys; two nephews, Robert and Mark Steeves. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Brenda Doyle; his parents; one brother Wayne Steeves.
Visitation will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be from Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Gerald Blaquiere. Interment will be in the family lot of St. James United Church Cemetery, Miramichi.
