Obituary for Ron Taillefer
Tragically on Friday, October 20, 2017. Ronald “Ron” Taillefer of Alexandria; age 77 years. Beloved husband of Pauline Richer-Taillefer, and by a previous marriage to Yvette Taillefer (née Lalonde). Loving father of Nicole Quesnel (Richard) of Green Valley and Tina Romon (Pierre) of Bainsville, and stepfather of Serge Lessard (Manon) of Melocheville, Denis Lessard (Chantal) of St. Adèle and Annie Desrochers (Guillaume Labelle) of Morin Heights. Cherished grandfather of Christian (Sophie), Crystal (Alex), Karina (Martin), Nicholas, Myriam, Sébastien and Isabelle, and great-grandfather of Tatiana, Yannick and Hailey. Cherished step grandfather of Annick, Jennifer, Vanessa and Isabelle and step great-grandfather of Angelik, Jasmine, Jacob, Jake and Isaac. Predeceased by one brother Ubald Taillefer and by his parents Rhéal and Noëlla Taillefer (née Laflamme). Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772) on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Friday from 9am until 10:30 am. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Munro & Morris Funeral Home on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the Église Sacré-Coeur Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Ron a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
