It is with great sorrow the Rouse family announces the passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather,great grandfather, brother and uncle. Rod Rouse entered into rest with his loving family at his side on Monday January 2nd 2017 in his 83rd year. Rod was beloved husband of Nancy and the late Colleen Rouse (nee Dunn), the dear father of Margie (John) Valberg, Cathy (Dennis) Carriere, Linda (Harold) Hawthorne and stepchildren Carolyn Young (Richard Collins), Craig (Andrea)Cunningham, grandchildren Paul (Drue) DeDekker, Dave (Ashley) DeDekker, Corey Guerin, Chris (Breanna) Guerin, Alyssa Carriere, Reed Hawthorne, step grandchildren Julia and Cameron Young, Aidan and Keira Cunningham, Camryn Collins as well as four great grandchildren. He is survived by a brother Walter (Sandra) Rouse. Pre-deceased by parents Frank and Gladys (Messett) Rouse and brother Dan.
Family and friends may call at Barclay Funeral Home 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Thursday January 5th between 2-4 pm or 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated and St. John Bosco Parish at 10:30 am Friday January 6th, 2017. Interment to follow at St. Marks Cemetery Prescott.
