Obituary of Robert Joyce
(Volunteer driver for Children’s Aid and CPHC. Retired from GM Oshawa Truck Plant)
Suddenly, but peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at age 62. Bob Joyce of North Augusta and formerly of Oshawa and Cannington, dearly loved husband of Sue. Loved father of Aaron (Erin), Ryan (Candace), Cameron (Dagny) and April (Jeremy). Loving grandfather of Aidan, Baily, Brock, Wesley, Jim, Patrick, Phillip, Thomas, Jordan, Logan, Lucas and Dylan. Beloved son of Nora and the late Alan Joyce of Cannington. Dear brother of Jim (late Alice), Linda (Steve Barry), and the late Tom (Janet).
The family of Bob Joyce will receive friends at the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw Street South in Cannington (705-432-2672) on Saturday, October 7th from 12:30 – 2 p.m. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Cedar Vale Cemetery, Cannington.
If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes, the Ottawa Hospital Foundation or the Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.thornefuneralhome.ca
