Obituary of Robert Stickney
It is with great sadness we announce Bob’s sudden passing in Kitchener, Friday August 4, 2017 at age 74
Proud father to sons Craig, Michael and Tyler, loving father-in-law of Johanna and Amy. Affectionately known as “Grampa Bob” to his beloved grandchildren Braden, Isobel, Parker, Noah, Charlie and Andrew. Nicknamed “Sledge” by his buddies in the early days and known as Bob to the many friends he made over the years.
Bob was passionate about cars and developed this passion into a successful career in the auto industry, earning the opportunity to work in many areas of the country and the business creating many lifelong friendships along the way. An avid runner, skier and fun seeker enjoying weekends in Collingwood for many years and more recently roller coasters with his grandchildren. Bob will be missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to join Bob’s family in celebration of his life at Whistle Bear Golf Club, 1316 Dickie Settlement Road, Cambridge on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 6:45 p.m. with remarks planned at 7:30 p.m.
