Roberta Holden (nee Fisher)
At 12:45 am on December 26, 2017, Roberta peacefully passed away at Youville Home in St. Albert, Alberta. Roberta was 93 years old.
She was predeceased by her husband Norman, of 58 years, in 2003; brother John and sisters Grace and Eileen. Roberta will be lovingly remembered by her two remaining sisters Anne and Madeline, her son Brian (Linda); daughter Arlene; grandchildren Daniel, Derek (Melissa), Dan (Chantal); Nathan, Emily (Jason), Timothy (Chantelle), Megan; 12 great grandchildren and many friends.
Roberta loved to be with her grandchildren and enjoyed social gatherings with family and friends. She enjoyed travel and had many good memories of England, Australia, New Zealand, Tasmania, Tahiti, Fiji and the coast of Alaska.
A memorial service will be held later in the new year when it is more convenient for travel as Roberta’s friends and family are spread out across the country and as far away as Bolivia.
The family is sincerely grateful to the staff of Youville Home, West Country Hearth and Heritage Place Lodge for the awesome care that they provided for Roberta.
