Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory
IRVINE, Roberta Elaine (nee Ramey) – It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Roberta on Wed Dec 06, 2017 in her 78th year.
She is now reunited with her husband John (2015) and son Chris (2017).
She is survived by her mother Irene and predeceased by her father Robert and sister Irene.
Roberta is the cherished mother of Robert (Karen) and Barbara (Darren).
Special Nannie to Jeremy (Starlynn), Bobbi (DJ), DJ (Tina), Madison, Jessica (Jim), Jack and Katie and Great Grandmother to Ricky, Britaney, Ashlynn, Kalli, Cobain, Charlotte and Conan.
She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
She also leaves behind her cherished sister-in-law and best friend Gwen Irvine. Roberta took an early retirement from the Welland Hospital where she worked in Medical Records. She enjoyed life to the fullest, travelling throughout the world with her husband during their long union, and loved spending time with her family and friends at the trailer.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Seasons for taking excellent care of Roberta and filling her final weeks with activity and cheer. They also thank the palliative care team, Dr. Dooler and nurses Linda and Meghan, along with her family doctor Dr. Jennifer Mueller.
In keeping with Roberta’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Fonthill Legion BR 613 (Hwy 20, Fonthill) on Friday, December 15th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. If so desired, memorial donations to Hospice Niagara will be appreciated by her family. You are invited to share your memories, photos and condolences on-line at www.pleasantviewcemetery.ca
