TREMBLAY, Robert – Long time employee of Courtaulds – Mr. Robert Tremblay peacefully, with his family by his side at the Ottawa Hospital – General Campus on Saturday March 4, 2017 at the age of 80. Cherished husband of 56 years to Marie (née Bertrand). Loved father of Monique Whitford (Murray), Suzanne Potvin (Maurice) and Nicole Lapierre (Mark). Proud grandfather of Perry (Katie), Jennifer (Tom), Jessica (Adrian), and Christopher (Carolyn). Great grandfather of Ella, Wylie, and Nevin. Survived by his siblings Jinette Seguin, Georgette Daigle, Therese Leblanc, Gabrielle Larin, Ronald Tremblay, Paulette Cuerrier, Cecile Meilleur and Denis Tremblay. Predeceased by his parents Albert and Germaine (Andre) Tremblay and by his brothers Leo, Gerald, and George. Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Friday from 9AM until the time of the service . The Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in the chapel of Wilson Funeral Home on Friday March 10, 2017 at 10AM. Rite of Committal at a later date. If so desired, contributions in Robert’s memory to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
