ROWTER, Robert Bruce –
70, of Bridgewater, passed away July 4, 2017 at home. Born in Halifax,
he was a son of the late Dr. Robert M and Iris (Awalt) Rowter.
Robert was a member of Bridgewater Town Council from
1978-1980. His employment began with the Royal Bank in Bridgewater for
6 years. He spent many years after that in sales, working in
Bridgewater at various locations. His last employment was in Real
Estate with what was formerly known as Cooks Real Estate. Surviving
are his wife, Linda; son Robert Christopher (Tammy); daughter Jacqui
(Mathew Daniels); grandchildren Brittany Carver, Robert Jordan Rowter,
Lucus Daniels; sister-in-law Louise (Frank); niece Leanna;
father-in-law Bruce Dares. Visitation will be 7-9pm Thursday in R.A.
Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, and where Memorial Service will be
2:00pm Friday, Rev. Willis Ott Officiating. Interment will be held at
a later date. No flowers by request. Memorial Donations may be made to
the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or SHAID Animal
Shelter. Arrangements are under the direction of the R.A. Corkum
Funeral Home, Wileville.
