Robert Ronald Wilson – July 8, 1935 – September 15, 2017 (age 82)

Robert Ronald Wilson passed away peacefully on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on July 8, 1935 in Belleisle Creek, NB he was the son of the late George and Beulah May (Sommers) Wilson. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings George, Manford, Melba and Elsie.
Bob worked as a carpenter for many years. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time in his gardens.
He is survived by his children Bob (Gayle) of Vancouver Island, Donna (Glyn) of United Kingdom, Judy of Saint John, Colleen and Tom; granddaughter Jeana; twin brother Ray, brother Jim (Annie); sisters Phyllis (Rick) and Edith; special niece Betty; special friends, Colette, Jason, Alex and Coleman; several nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.
Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. Remembrances in memory of Bob may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
