Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory
HANN, Robert P. “Bob” (Valiant Rental Properties and Halloway Developments) passed away suddenly with his loving family by his side on Friday December 15th, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Bob, Loving husband of Tina for 20 years. Cherished father of Beth (Shane) Kelly, Michele Silva-Neto, Angel (Terry) Van Leeuwen, Candy (Mark) Seager and Julie (Kayle) Tronstad. Predeceased by daughter Debbie Clarke. Adored grandfather of William, Hanna Kelly, Kelsie, Ely, Jesse Silva-Neto, Noah, Sophia Van Leeuwen, Samantha, Alex Workman and Abby, Olivia Tronstad. Dear brother of Heather (Peter) Abramczuk. Predeceased by sister Carol (Ted) Haseman. Also predecessor by former spouse Carol (nee Reynar) Hann. Will be missed by son-in-law Wayne Clarke and forever remembered and cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Bob moved his family to Oshawa in 1954 to continue building houses and developing land in a way that has greatly impacted Southern Ontario. Bob was a humble visionary who loved his community and was very proud of his family. The Hann family would to like to recognize Lakeridge Health Oshawa and the emergency response teams for their efforts and kindness.
Family and friends may call at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby (N of Hwy #2) 905 443-3376 for memorial visitation on Wednesday December 20th 2017 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm followed by visitation on Thursday December 21st, 2017 from 2 pm until time of Memorial Service in our Chapel at 3:00 pm. Interment of Bob’s cremated remains to take place at a later date and Celebration of Life in the new year. In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army Oshawa would be greatly appreciated.
