Obituary Overview
In Loving Memory of Bob
CRYSLER, Robert L. –
April 14,1941 – November 3, 2017 Peacefully in his sleep, on Friday,November 3rd. Bob passed away after fourteen years with early onset Alzheimer’s. Always at his side, loving wife of 45 years, Judith (Berry). Missed dearly by daughters Dawn (Kirk), and Debbie (Jason) Stock. Loving Papa to his grandchildren, Emily and Aiden. Predeceased by brother Richard
(1990), father Lewis (2006), and mother, Dorothy (2010). Survived by his youngest brother Ronald. Bob will be missed by his extended family and many long-time friends. A lifelong resident of Fonthill, Bob grew up on a vegetable farm at the bottom of Overholt hill and he and
Judith raised their family on their fruit farm on the top of the same hill. Bob worked as a machinist at General Motors for 32 years. He enjoyed many hobbies including, drag racing,
cars, jet skiing at the cottage, and travelling. The family welcomes friends and family to share stories on Thursday, November 9th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Pleasantview Funeral Home 2000 Merrittville Highway (corner of Highway 20 and Merrittville 905-892-1699). A Celebration of Life
will be held at Pleasantview Chapel on Friday morning, November 10th at 11 a.m., with a reception following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rapelje Lodge or the
Alzheimer’s Society. Judith, Debbie, and Dawn wish to acknowledge the love and care that Bob received at Rapelje Lodge for the last nine years. Please share your condolences, photos, and stories at www.pleasantviewcemetery.ca
