At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Tuesday September
5, 2017 of Robert D. Schurman of Freetown aged 86 years.
Born in Summerside on April 23, 1931 son of the late Everett and
Marguerite (Auld) Schurman. Husband of Jean (MacLeod)
Schurman. Father of Douglas ( Linda), Gordon
(Judy) and Garth Schurman. Grandfather to Karen (Tim)
O’Malley, Darren (Blakney) Schurman, and Megan Gill (Jacob
Dunlop). Great-grandfather to Dylan Schurman, Caleb Schurman, Aodhfin
O’Malley and Leah Dunlop. Brother-in-law of Ian (Dorothy)
MacLeod. Uncle of Evelyn MacLeod and Miriam (Robert)
Martin.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation
on Thursday from 6- 9 p.m. Funeral Friday in the Freetown
United Church at 10: 30 a.m. Interment in Freetown
People’s Cemetery. If so desired contributions may
be made to Freetown United Church, Freetown People’s
Cemetery Fund or the Oncology Unit of Prince County
Hospital.
