Robert “Bobby” George Cook was born October 3, 1966 and passed away December 17, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He will be dearly missed as he was so loved by his family and friends – a heart of gold, so caring.
Bobby was born in Ponoka and worked over 30 years at the Ponoka Golf Course and 24 years at the Ponoka Cabinet makers. He held two jobs, working weekends seasonally at the golf course. He was a hard worker.
He loved animals and his family meant the world to him. Bobby was always someone you could call for help and he would be there.
Bobby leaves to mourn, his wife Wei Ting, step-daughter Lightness, and step-son Spencer; his sisters Linda Krompocker and brother-in-law Mike, and Bonny Vaudry and brother-in-law Lorne; nephews Jesse (Candace), Evan, and Erik (Rachel); niece Chantelle (Johnny); as well as a great-nephew, great-nieces, an many special friends. Bobby was predeceased by his father George Cook, mother Eileen Cook, his grandparents and many uncles and aunts.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the Ponoka Funeral Home.
