Nix, Robert (Bob) Arthur On February 28, 2017 peacefully at St.Michael’s Hospital; aged 89 years surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 6, 1927 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Bob dedicated his life to his three passions: music, mathematics and golf. A professional trombonist, he toured with the National Ballet orchestra and performed with many well- known musicians over the years including: Tom Jones, Tony Bennet and Ray Charles.
