Obituary for Rita Everard
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearly loved Mother on Tuesday Sept 5, 2017 at the Westmount Retirement Home, at the age of 93 years. Predeceased by her husband John Everard (1993). Loving Mother of Denis (Donna) of South River, Reg (Fran) of Markham, Normand (predeceased 1950), Johanne (Gary) of Sudbury, Pamela (John) of Sundridge, Darlene (Denis) of Sudbury, Robert (Linda) of Ottawa. Dear Mina and Grandma to Jamie (Christine), Mathew, Christena (Shayne), Stephen, Mark (Ashley), Vicki (Tony), Kevin, Jordan (Stephanie), Brianna (Alex), as well as great-grandmother to Cameron, Haley, Hannah-Lynn, Autumn, Hudson, Ben and Will. Mom will be remembered as a kind, gentle, quiet woman who enjoyed spending quality time with her family and a good game of 500 Rummy. We will cherish the fond memories of her great sense of humor.
We wish to express our deepest gratitude to Genevieve Courrant NP (Mom’s primary caregiver) as well as the staff at Westmount Retirement Home for the special care given to Mom. A private family service will be held. Interment at the Civic Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Cooperative Funeral Home.
