Obituary for Richard Kakish
On Sunday, August 13, 2017 our family said their final goodbyes to Richard Paul Kakish. With heavy hearts and unspeakable sadness, Richard leaves to mourn his parents, Barbara (Dan) and predeceased by father Brian, parents Cindy (Ian) and Albert (Darlene). Beloved daughters Danisha (Lyndon), Tyesha, Skyler and one son Joel. Grandchildren Mylah, Rainah, and Kase, sisters Charlene (Moe), Charlotte, Season (Andrea), Angela (David), and Tina, brother Curtis (Tressa), and predeceased brother Bert. Nieces Kaysha, Anna, Alia, And Dakota, nephews Ethan, Jordan, Christian, Noah and Dominik and numerous aunts and uncles. He was also predeceased by his best friend Denny Tomazic.
Richard had a larger than life personality. He was kind, polite, and loving to all and loved giving big hugs to his family. Richard would light up a room with his big goofy smile and lame jokes. Richard was a big kid at heart so he would challenge his nephews to video games which he liked to win. He enjoyed WWF and movies.
Richard’s pride and joy was his girls. He loved them dearly and they had him wrapped around their their little fingers. He had a big soft spot when it came to his girls including his grandchildren. They were his everything in life. Richard had a special bond unique to each family member. He would show his love, making you feel you were the only one who counted in his life. Always ending a phone conversation or a goodbye hug with a “Love You”. We “Love You” too, Richard, Always and Forever.
Special thank you to HSC ICU Dr’s and nursing staff for their compassionate care.
Viewing by family and close friends by invitation. Cremation to follow. Private family interment to take place at a later date.
A Celebration of Richard’s Life will take place on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2017 at St. Vital Park.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Richard Paul
