BRESNAHAN, Rev. William Albert – September 23, 1948 – November 14, 2017. William (Bill) passed away on November 14, 2017 in his 69th year at The Birches in Musquodoboit Harbour, Nova Scotia. Beloved husband of the late Nancy (Lapierre) Bresnahan for 49 years. Predeceased by his parents, A.J. and Bella (Juby) Bresnahan. Sadly missed by son, Lt(N) Scott (RCN); daughter-in-law, Natalie and grandchildren, Shamus and Madelyn of Musquodoboit Harbour NS.
Survived by sister, Glenyce Brydges and brother, Douglas of Renfrew ON.
Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place.
A combined funeral service will be conducted at Grace United Church, Gananoque ON, November 21, 2017 at 1:30pm. A private family service will also be conducted following the funeral at North Horton Cemetery, R.R. #5 Renfrew, ON. Rev Bill was a member of Leeds Masonic Lodge 201, Ancient Frontenac and Cataraqui Royal Arch Chapter No. 1, Hugh de Payens Premier Preceptory No. 1 (Knights Templar) and Sterling Chapter No. 307 Order of the Eastern Star. Rev Bill earned a B.A. in Religion from Carleton University and MDiv and M.R.E from Acadia University. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Bill and Nancy Bresnahan to The Birches Nursing Home in Musquodoboit Harbour, NS. The Birches 7702, Hwy # 7, Musquodoboit Harbour, NS, B0J 2L0.
