Obituary of Rene Carter
CARTER, “Rene” –
Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Rene was predeceased by her loved and adored husband Jack. Rene taught at German Road School, was Past President of Tranquility Women’s Institute, Past President of Erie Presbyterial United Church Women, Past District Deputy Grand Matron of District 18 of the Order of the Eastern Star, and an officer of Brant Chapter #188 of the Order of the Eastern Star for many years. As requested by Rene, there will be no visitation and no service. Cremation has taken place. If wished, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford 519-758-1553. Special memories and condolences may be forwarded to the family through www.mccleisterfuneralhome.ca
