The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of Community
Hospital, O’Leary on Monday, July 18, 2016 of Reby Hazel
Milligan of Tyne Valley, aged 98 years, wife of the late Charles
Bayfield Milligan. Born in Portage on February 26, 1918, daughter of
the late James “Jim” and Pearl (Adams)
MacKinnon.
Loving mother to Shirley (Ronald) MacArthur, Tyne Valley;
Donald (Judy), Tyne Valley; Keith (Debbie), Tyne Valley; John,
Summerside; Gladys Hayman (Joe Landrigan), Kensington; Darlene Shaw
(Lawrence MacIntyre), Cardigan and Tommy (Lisa), Kitchener, ON. Dear
grandmother to 31 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 2 great
great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister in law Hattie
MacKinnon, Summerside.
Predeceased by her parents, husband Charlie (2002), sons Carl
(1992), Albert Matthews (2016), brothers Keith, Edward, Frank and in
infancy Kelsey.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting
hours Wednesday, July 20 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Funeral will be held on
Thursday in the Chapel at 1:00p.m. Interment will follow in St.
Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Lot 11.
In memory of Reby, memorials to St. Peter’s
Anglican Church or St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery would be
appreciated.
