Gosselin, Réal Joseph Clément – With sadness the family announces the death of Mr Réal Gosselin at the age of 85 years. Mr Gosselin passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Temiskaming Hospital.
Born January 11, 1932 at Montreal, Quebec, he was the son of the late Arthur Gosselin and the late Antoinette Bergeron. Mr Gosselin worked at his family farm in Belle-Vallée until the time of his retirement when he moved to New Liskeard.
Predeceased by his parents, his brother Claude Gosselin, his grandson Steven Gosselin and his in-laws: Alfred [Rita] St-Amant, Germaine [Emilien] Denis and Jean St-Amant. Left to mourn is his loving and devoted wife Thérèse [née St-Amant] and his children: Jocelyne Bergeron of Belle-Vallée, Serge Gosselin of New Liskeard, Rchard [Line] Gosselin of Harley Township and Pierre [Marie] Gosselin of Harris Township. Fondly remembered by eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and his sister Huguette Legros of New Liskeard. Also survived by his in-laws: Claire [late Basil] Beaulac, Paul St-Amant, Jeanne St-Amant and Marie-Claire St-Amant.
The Gosselin family will receive friends at Église Sacré-Coeur Saturday, March 11, 2017 beginning at 10:am. Funeral mass will follow at 11:am. Father Richard Ngoy officiating. Spring interment will take place at the New Liskeard Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Community Cancer Care or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
