Raymond “Ray” Anthony Parsons
Raymond A. Parsons, 66, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at
The Moncton Hospital on Monday, October 16, 2017.
Born in Reserve Mines, Cape Breton Island, NS, he was the son
of Doreen Mary (Seward) and the late Herbert Allister
Parsons.
Ray worked in retail and sales. A kind, loving and
gentle husband, brother, uncle and friend, he enjoyed the simple
things in life. He and Jacqueline, his wife and best friend, enjoyed
the time they spent together. His pastimes included fishing,
gardening, reading and cheering on the
“Habs”.
Ray will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 27 years,
Jacqueline (Clarke); his mother, Doreen Parsons; brothers and sisters,
Allister, Donna Scott (Glen), Linda Johnston (Fred), Doreen Shippee,
Kevin, Roseanne, Paulette Oram (Pat), Brenda Garnett (Rob), Wayne and
Christopher (Taru); many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father, Ray was predeceased by an infant brother,
John Francis.
A Service to celebrate and honour Ray’s life will
be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995) on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 3:00 pm with Rev. Allison
Carroll presiding. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00
pm.
In memory of Ray, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
