It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ray
Falconer, 78 years young, at his home, surrounded by his loving
family, in Moncton, NB on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Husband of 56
years to Joyce (Mullin).
Born in Douglasfield, NB, he was the son of Dorothy (Brehaut)
and William Falconer. He worked in the Heating Trade, was an
Instructor at NBCC and enjoyed being a member of the school board.
He will be sadly missed by his wife and daughters, Cathy
(Bob) Berry of Irishtown, NB and Elsa Howells of Nipigon, ON; five
grandchildren, Tonya Yeomans, Cory (Katelyn) Cormier, J. Scott
(Kate-Lynn) Howells, Daniel Howells (Caitlin Brown) and Kyle Berry
(Melissa Graham); four great grandchildren, Dylan Yeomans, Emma
Cormier, Rose Howells and Lucas Cormier. He also leaves to mourn two
sisters, Jackie (Dougie) Price and Donna (Jim) Caul; five brothers,
Kenny (Joanne), Jimmy (Ann), Reggie (Joyce), Billy (Carol) and Lloyd
(Dianne). He was predeceased by his parents and brother Wilmot,
sister, Ethel Mullin and son-in-law, Donnie Cormier.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Fergusons
Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB (858-1995) on Wednesday,
August 16, 2017 at 1:30 pm with his nephew, Chris Falconer,
officiating. Refreshments in the Funeral Home Reception Centre
following the service. Burial to follow on Thursday, August 17, 2017
at 1:30 pm at Miramichi Cemetery, Miramichi, NB.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society
