1927 – 2017
Passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Ruth (nee
Densmore) by his side at Wellington Terrace, Elora on Saturday,
September 9, 2017 at the age of 90. Loved father of Brian
(Judy), Wayne (Sheila) and Sharon Golds (Larry). Proud Poppa
of Trevor (Joanne), Brent (Maggie), Gerrad (Connie), Geordie
(Lindsay), Pam (Jason Nitert), Kyle, Rodney Golds (Susanne), Krista
(Brent Green) and of 14 great grandchildren. Dear brother of
Dorothy Hall (d. Ron), Willie (Dorothy), Gerald (d. Doreen), Irene
Laidlaw (d. Dick) and the late Jim (Helen) and the late Rita Tracey
(d. Jim); brother-in- law of Win Densmore (Pearl), Charlie Densmore
(Iris) and the late Edna Rodowski (d. Mike), the late Adele Peart (d.
Harvey) the late Clifford Densmore (d. Isabel) and the late Aileen
Anderson (d. Earl). Ralph will be fondly
remembered by nieces, nephews and their families and many dear
friends. Cremation has taken place.
Thank you to the staff of Wellington Terrace for making
Ralph’s life so much fun and taking such good care of him.
The family will host a celebration of Life at Lakeside
Church, 7654 Conservation Road, Guelph, on Sunday, October 4, 2017 at
1:00 p.m. If desired, donations to the Canadian
Cancer Society-Wellington County Unit or to the Heart & Stroke
Foundation would be appreciated.
