Obituary for R Gordon Hutchinson
Gord passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on April 3, 2017. He will be greatly missed by his teenage sweetheart and wife of 62 years, Barbara (nee Derby) and their four children Sharon (Kevin) Smail of Winchester, Sandra (Lyle) Thornton of Kemptville, Andrew (Vicky) of Kemptville and David (Judith) of Riverview, Fla. Grandfather of Jennifer (Phil), Shawn (Jenn), Scott (Erin), Shayne, Rebecca (Anthony), Alanna, Brent (Megan) and Andrew and great-grandfather to Ryan, Owen and Brady. He is survived by his brothers Allan of Winchester, Roydon (Norma) of Indiana and John (Cheryl) of Winchester. Predeceased by his parents Ross and Matie Hutchinson. Friends and family are invited to visit the Winchester Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 472 Main Street, Winchester, on Thursday, April 6 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service to be held in the chapel on Friday, April 7 at 11 o’clock. Interment at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Winchester United Church. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
