Parker – Phyllis Maureen Parker (Hogan) wife of Murray Parker passed away at Hospice Fredericton on Wednesday June 28, 2017. Born in Fredericton Junction, NB on February 27, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Arthur & Doreen (Kelly) Hogan.
Phyllis worked for the Department of National Defense for 26 years. She belonged to St. Columba Catholic Church and she loved to cook and to garden.
Phyllis is survived by two daughters; Tammy Mason (Rickie) of North Carolina and Paula Mott (Greg) of Tracy, three sons; Donnie Parker (Karen) of High Springs Florida, Steve Parker of Moncton, Troy Parker of Enniskillen, three sisters; Lorraine Hogan-King (Lance) of Saint John, Barbara Charlton (George) of Hoyt and Brenda Hogan of Hoyt, three brothers; Warren Hogan of Westfield, Peter Hogan (Darlene) of Fredericton Junction and Trevor Hogan of Tracy, five grandchildren; Murray, Hilary, Jennifer, Aaron, Chris, three great grandchildren ; Alexis Leah, Christina, several nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held at Sunbury Funeral Home on Sunday July 2, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. The funeral will be held on Monday July 3, 2017 at 11 am St. Columba Catholic Church in Fredericton Junction with Father Martin Arputham officiating. If you wish, donations may be made in Phyllis’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
