Born March 21, 1928, in Sussex, NB, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Gladys Dunn. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband George in 1996 and brothers Maurice, Frank, Donald, Jack, Paul, and sisters Dorothy, Mary, Joyce, Shirley, Claire, Josephine, and grandson Jason Babiak.
Phyllis is survived by her son Michael in BC and daughter Debbie Babiak, granddaughter Ashley Babiak in Thunder Bay, Ontario, her brothers Tony Dunn (Phyllis) Sussex, NB, Walter Dunn (Lucille) Burlington, Ont, sister Jean Beckingham Grimsby, Ont, Blake MacIntosh (Thelma) Ottawa, Anne Cork (Tom) Edmonton, Alberta and Norma Dunn, Florida along with many nieces and nephews.
Phyllis worked hard all her life, and she was a very kind and loving individual who liked to knit, bake, play cards, and spend time with her family.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Beacon Hill Villa nurses and staff for their kindness and compassion.
In keeping with Phyllis wishes, Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held in Moncton, New Brunswick at a later date.
