COLBORNE, PHYLLIS ELIZABETH (NEE WILLIAMS)
Peacefully at her home in Jones Falls surrounded by her family on Monday, May 1, 2017, Phyllis Colborne in her 84th year. Survived by her husband of 62 years, Keith Colborne. Dear mother of Philip, Ken (Diane), Susan (John) Duncan, Kate (Ted) Buelow and Roger (Sandra). Adored grandmother to Gabriel and Nathan Colborne, Wayne and Shawn Colborne, Jennifer (Larry) Steele and Julia (Shane) Lafreniere, Sara (Kyle) Buelow, Amanda (Chad) Farlinger and Greg Colborne. Affectionately known as More Nanny to Victoria (Brett) and Jacob Steele, Zack and Maggie Lafreniere and Kayleigh and Kaydance Colborne. Proud great-great grandmother to Anna Steele. Fondly remembered by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Caroline Williams, her brother Leonard and her sister Vera all of Prince Edward Island and her infant son Wayne. Mom was a beautiful, vibrant person who impacted so many including her family and many friends both old and new. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Thursday from 1-3 and 6-8. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Friday morning at 11:00 o’clock. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Cancer Centre) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
