The death of Phillip Austin Orser of Hartland occurred on Friday,
November 10, 2017 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born
February 22, 1928 in Hartland he was the son of the late Hebron and
Margaret (Estabrooks) Orser. He was also predeceased by his wife,
Muriel; 1 daughter, Marsha Tibbits; 1 son, Larry Orser; grandchildren,
Kevin and Kyle Johnston, Jamie Orser, Melissa Orser; great grandchild,
Selena Craig; 7 siblings, Harry Orser, Raymond Orser, Evard Orser,
Burden Orser, Mona Hovey, Viva Laskey and Annabelle Orser.
Phillip is survived by his 4 children, Dale Orser (Pam), April Orser,
Lisa Johnston (Kevin) and Rusty Orser; 1 son in law, Brian Tibbits; 9
grandchildren, Danielle Watson (Kent), Mystye Craig (Jay), Mitchell
Tibbits, Angel Tibbits, Paige Tibbits, Eden Tibbits, Kate Johnston,
Hannah Johnston, Evan Johnston; 4 great grandchildren, Sylvie, Seth,
Sarah and Cohen; 4 chosen great grandchildren, Riley, Madison, Peyton
and Maxwell; 1 sister, Isabelle Cody; 3 sisters-in-law, Molly Orser,
Freda Ross, Avis Budrow; canine companion, Max; special neighbor, Judy
Clark as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will be held from the Britton Funeral Home, 2 high St.
Hartland on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 4-7 pm. A funeral service
will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Pastors Doug
Cook and Brian Bradley will officiate. Interment will be in the
Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland. If so desired, donations can be made
to the Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Canada or the Heart and Stroke
